SWCS Releases Second Quarterly Report
Second Quarterly Report: February 2010
A Message from Superintendent Dr. Bill Wise
The South-Western City
School District is committed to running an efficient and effective organization
and taking aggressive steps to achieve those ends. Our community’s future
depends on the progress of its public school system. Success in school
is about a quality of life that is delivered through the ability to
compete in today’s economy. Through a partnership of students, teachers,
parents, community, and stable financial resources, this can be achieved.
It is our goal to move the district forward, while continually improving the effectiveness of our educational process and efficiencies of business practices. It is with this in mind, that we are pleased to present to the community the second of many quarterly reports focusing on our four goals of:
- Academic Improvement and Achievement
- Fiscal Accountability
- Operational Efficiency
- Communication with the Community
First Quarterly Report: October 2009
Other Information
KidsOhio.org has developed an eight-page report, ”Key Facts About South-Western City Schools,” which provides information about the district from state and county sources.
KidsOhio.org was created in 2002 in response to community, education and business leaders who wanted an effective, data-driven, nonpartisan organization focused on improving public education in Ohio. The organization is nonpartisan, funded by the private sector and does not accept any government monies or contracts.
